Personal Statement
Gracie Winchell is a senior this year at Ripon High School and is anxiously awaiting her walk across the stage in May. She looks forward to stepping into a new role this school year as the Senior Class Vice President, especially with Homecoming and Winterfest. Her main priorities this year consist of assisting April Yan, the Senior Class President, and to voice the opinions of the Senior Class during Leadership meetings. Her and her fellow officers are going to make this the best possible year for the Senior class, since most of their high school experience was spent on distance learning and with COVID regulations. In addition to her Leadership duties, she’s taking three AP classes and helping with her church’s youth group on Wednesday and Thursday nights, all while prepping for college. While she will be very busy, she strives for success in high school so that she can better prepare herself for her future. She aspires to attend a four year college on the Pacific Coast, but she has her sights set on Oregon State University to get her degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. After graduating college, she hopes to pursue a career in Pharmacology. When she’s not focused on the academic aspects of her life, you can usually find her reading a romcom or watching a show like Gilmore Girls or Glee. She loves to spend time with her friends and family, especially her closest friends, Claire, April, and Spencer.
